Inky black Sumi covers this rare variety from head to tail. A base of metallic skin makes the whole koi glow.

Point of appreciation: Fukurin (thick space of skin between the scales) is beginning to form a very desired net pattern on this young Ogon. As this koi matures the Fukurin will become more and more defined exhibiting more of the Hikari (bright metallic skin) base.
